The Brief
Signature Performance Gear is a surf and skate brand on the West Coast of Cape Town. The brief was open ended: design a van that would turn heads on the road up the coast and work as a moving billboard for the brand.
The Approach
We took cues from motorsport livery. Red, black and grey racing stripes sweep from the nose along the full length of the van, and the winged Signature mark is scaled up across the side panel so it reads from a distance. On the front, a single centre stripe runs over the roof and bonnet through the badge.
The Result
A bold, performance-led wrap that makes the brand unmistakable from the front, the side and the rear, with the website and social handles kept clean and legible along the lower panel.
